How we're funded

Although RSVP West is part of the national charity ‘Volunteering Matters’, it is totally financially independent. We have no salaried staff and deliver outstanding value for money.

For this reason, we have our own local charity (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) ‘Friends of RSVP West Region’. Its sole purpose is to obtain the funds needed to support the activities of RSVP West’s volunteers in Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset.

Expenditure covers office rent and other costs plus volunteers’ expenses. ‘Friends of RSVP West Region’ has its own bank account into which all donations are gratefully received.
