We are looking for anyone who is enthusiastic about using Twitter and social media and has good ideas about how a small charity is able to use social media to improve the work of the charity – particularly for raising its profile and new-members recruitment purposes.
The volunteer Organisers require help to use Twitter and other social media, there will be a need to visit them at home and at the Bristol office to assist them, initially, to develop their use of the RSVP West Region twitter account to promote the work of the charity, engage with others in similar areas of volunteering and to use Twitter and social media in all its potential.
RSVP members/volunteers have to be 50 + years but we would be happy to consider a younger person on a short-term assignment
RSVP West Region is volunteer-led, has no salaried staff and is financially independent.
This volunteer will need good communication skills
All out of pocket expenses are reimbursed and there is excellent personal accident and third party insurance cover.
